Welcome to my Blog
After 48 years in the gospel ministry, having served
Presbyterian and Reformed churches on both the east
coast and west coast of Canada, I am now retired.
I am looking forward to this time which has opened
up to me to continue writing articles, and, in doing so,
to address some of the most pertinent issues of our
day from a biblical perspective.
The name I have chosen for this blog, Every Thought
Captive, comes from 2 Corinthians 10:4&5, the fact
that the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,
is able to bring “every thought captive to the obedience
of Christ.” Let us pray to experience more of that.
Yours truly, Tom Aicken, pastor emeritus
